In line with best practices, Chris holds an enhanced DBS check certificate and maintains professional indemnity insurance cover — ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

Chris is a member of the Association of Sign Language Interpreters (ASLI) and the interpreters’ trade union, NUBSLI. His commitment to the profession extends beyond his interpreting work, having previously served as Deputy Chairperson of NUBSLI for three years — advocating for the rights and fair working conditions of language professionals.
